International Women's Day is observed all over the world on March 8th, 2008 in which women of all races, financial status and ages come together to celebrate all that women have done and all that women are and do.

Durham Region will be the host the prestigious 6th Annual Power of Women Conference at Tosca Banquet & Conference Centre, 800 Champlain Ave. Oshawa, Ontario. "We believe that there are so many amazing women in Ontario, that they deserve a special event that celebrates them in style." says founder and CEO, Tina Dezsi.

Produced by the Power of Women Exchange, a group for women entrepreneurs, executives, and business professionals, the conference is an extraordinary way to celebrate being a woman on IWD 2008.

This year's theme of empowering yourself to find your "Fearless Power to Fly Higher" is achieved through a unique formula that combines education, networking and pleasure.
